Pretty slow this morning on the Paint Branch Stream 
Valley Park trail (because of the heavy overcast?), 
but some good birds nonetheless, including 4 SAVANNAH
SPARROWS in the agricultural fields close to the path, my 
first here for the year.

One juvenile GREAT HORNED OWL seen.  One Western and one 
yellowish race PALM WARBLER.  Full report:

Overcast and cool (humid), a bit slow. Highlight: 4 Savannah 
Sparrows, first of the year for the path. 1 Great Horned Owl 
(juvenile) seen. May have heard Red-shouldered Hawk, 
kingfisher, and possibly White-eyed Vireo. One of the Palm 
Warblers was Western race (the other, yellowish race).
