We continue to have Purple Finches at our feeders, Juncos gobbling up millet and the wistful, spiritual song of the White-Throated Sparrows in the early morning.
We have the usual pair of Carolina Wrens nesting in an old carry all hung outside our back door to the deck. 5 eggs and very attentive parents. There is nothing more exciting in my yard than a group of wren nestlings "flying the coop" in early Spring. They are absolutely adorable with their little bob-tails and spunking attitude.
Have a fantastic Spring, all! |
