A couple of Horned Larks were doing courtship displays over Harford
County Airport this beautiful afternoon. They faced into the strong winds,
flapped like mad, and were wafted up almost as if they were on an elevator,
twittering the whole time.

We also saw several Bald Eagles, two Red-tailed Hawks, two Black Vultures,
and two American Kestrels. Other soaring birds were so high I couldn't
identify them, even with binoculars.

At one point I got to share a thermal with the Red-tails!
