Our first Brown Thrasher showed up this morning. We saw 3 Horned Larks yesterday morning (there were a very few this winter in the same fields). Two Horned Owls were calling below our house very early this morning but they are residents -- just hard-to-see-residents most of the time; today they were visible against the incredibly clear morning sky.
