Hi --

A rather cool morning at Rock Creek Park, DC, and the northerly wind overnight
did not favor migration, so we were not surprised that only a few migrants were
recorded. Hopefully things will pick up in the coming week.

Birds of interest included:

WORM-EATING WARBLER (1), Pine Warbler (1), Common Yellowthroat (3), Parula (1), Myrtle (10-15), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (~15), Gnatcatcher (8), WOOD THRUSH (1) -- first of year for us, Hermit Thrush (3), Brown Thrasher (1), Eastern Phoebe (3). Bluebirds are nesting near the Nature Center.
