Hi --

This afternoon we took the dogs for a walk in upper NW Branch Park, Montgomery Co., not expected to see too many birds excep "the usual suspects." However, we were rewarded with excellent looks at a pair of VESPER SPARROWS -- as well as the continuing presence since early winter of 6-8 Savannah Sparrows. Perhaps someone will stay and breed in this excellent open field habitat. Field Sparrows were already singing on territory.
