Subject: Poplar Island Sightings from Apr 10, 2006

            This report is submitted on behalf of Jan Reese of Talbot
County, who continues to periodically survey the flora and fauna of Poplar
Island. 

            These sightings include the birds seen on Apr 10, 2006.  Some of
the birds were seen from the boat during the trip from Tilghman Island and
back. 
		Weather:  Partly Cloudy in am, Clear Sky in pm,  Temp range
45-64 degrees F

Jan Reese also mentioned that the resident engineer of Poplar Island
reported seeing a White Pelican in Cell 2 on April 8th.  That bird could not
be found on the 10th.
