Beautiful day on the Potomac...I walked the trail from about 11:30 to 1:30.

Highlights:

NORTHERN PARULA: 6 heard, 2 seen
BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS: at least 15 seen.  All over the trees on the
banks of the canal.
MYRTLE YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS: 15.
I'm also pretty sure I heard 2 EASTERN SCREECH OWLS whinnying, but I
would have liked some visual confirmation.
