Birded Hughes Hollow in the fog for about an hour and 15 minutes early
this morning. Best find was actually "seeing" my first AMERICAN
BITTERN. I heard one there last year, but had never seen one until this
morning. It was in the canal like area partway down the cross dike,
just past the 2nd large tree.

Other highlights
Blue-winged Teal
Common Moorhen
Prothonotary Warbler
Yellow Warbler
LA and No. Waterthrush
Warbling and Red-eyed Vireo
Orchard Orioles

Hoping for a Bank Swallow as reported by Clive Harris yesterday but no luck.

Also, recorded night migrants again between 12 AM and dawn. Recorded
about 180 calls before Robin chorus started. I am gonna say 180 calls
and not 180 birds. Not sure how long night migrants pause between
calls. Maybe I'm picking up multiple calls from same bird as it passes
overhead. 4 calls appear to be good matches for Wood Thrush.
