Hi,

Yesterday Paul Pisano, Chuck Otte, and I were birding along the Anacostia. Birds of note that nobody else may have mentioned include

Eastern Meadowlarks
A singing male and another bird, perhaps a pair, in the no mow area near the first parking lot in Kenilworth Park.
A single bird in the northern part of Anacostia Park

Vesper Sparrow
A pair of birds at K. P. not too far from the first parking lot, near the goal post.

Prairie Warbler
2 or more birds singing at K. P. One near the first parking lot, one (later seen) in the "back area".

Yellow Palm Warbler
1 bird at K. P. in the back area.

Gotta run,
