I went to Lily Pons (actually I believe it's Lilypons) this morning hoping to see the Anhinga.  I arrived about 10 AM and shortly thereafter ran into Janice Brose from Rockville looking for it also.  We followed the directions that previous birders had posted on the web, but no Anhinga.  We then went to the office and spoke with Chuck Finley, and employee of Lilypons and a birder, who gave us very specific directions as to where it has been seen the past several days.  Again we went out with no success.  I left at 12:30 PM and Janice stayed on.  Hopefully she'll have more optimistic news.

If anyone goes out to Lilypons birding, I would recommend stopping in the office and ask for Chuck Finley. He's a very helpful individual who keeps track of all unusual sighting not at Lilypons, but the local area.
