Yesterday before working on new pond (25'x5') out
front, checked out bluebird box with 5 eggs and House
Finch nest in large evergreen tree with three newly
hatched chicks. Other birds, phoebes, doves, chipping
sparrows, nuthatches, robins, chickadees.... are on
nest or nest building.  Had added 3 more bluebird
boxes in early March for bluebirds that had been
hatched the year before or farther back.
