The female Ruff was present at Pickering Creek this morning.  She seemed to
favor some fairly tall grass at the back of the ponds that are farthest west
on the property.
 
Numerous other shorebirds are also present - lots of Greater Yellowlegs and
Lesser Yellowlegs, over a dozen Least Sandpipers and at least nine
Semipalmated Plovers.  Black Ducks and Blue-winged Teal are scattered around
amongst the more numerous Green-winged Teal.
