Greetings,

Just a few passing notes for Cecil County. This morning I had a first-of-
the-year (FOY) Red-eyed Vireo singing in the woods near my driveway (North
East, MD). Last night there were half dozen, or so, Chimney Swift coursing
above Main Street in North East.

As for Harford, I had a decent day yesterday, with plenty of FOY birds for
me. I had Ovenbirds at two locations on the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Also
Common Yellowthroats everwhere. White-eyed Vireos were in pretty thick as
well. Yesterday Afternoon I walked around the Susquahanna State Park, north
of Havre de Grace. There I had my FOY Indigo Buntings (2), Wood Thrush (1),
Warbling Vireo (1), and CERULEAN WARBLER (1). Also of note, there were 20
or so Bonnaparte's Gulls working the river.

Good Birding,
Chris Starling
