There was a yellow-crowned night heron in the swampy area on Sycamore
Landing Road today at noon. As you head towards the canal it was on the
right where the water considerably narrows. Lots of trees block the view
but you can easily see the bird. The way to find it is to be looking for
it and then think, "Wouldn't it be nice to spot a yellow-crowned night
heron" and POOF! There it is. Good luck.
I also saw a house wren going in and out of a small tree hole.
