Thought they were all gone for the season and then one presented himself today.  A single male, one-eyed Purple Finch was just at the feeder.  He is sleek and aware, and though he appears to be using both eyes, he definitely looks blind in one.

Yesterday, at Jefferson Patterson Park in Calvert County, heard a Great-crested Flycatcher.  Haven't yet had one in Bowie this year.  Also saw an Osprey.  The jellyfish in the Patuxent were beautiful, very colorful and showy.
