My lunchtime walk today was surprisingly birdless.  The shift in wind
appears to have cleared out many of the old cast of characters without
ushering in replacements.  Still, there were a few new faces around, the
best being a pair of Wood Thrushes at the DC WWI memorial and an
Ovenbird and a singing Orchard Oriole at Constitution Gardens.
