There was a lot of activity just outside my door this morning, but relatively
little elsewhere. I'm not complaining. Yesterday's Orange-crowned Warbler
was re-found by Pat Scheid in the afternoon, but could not be relocated
today, nor could the Prothonotary. They morphed into a flock of Myrtles.

Blue-headed Vireo 2
Yellow-throated Vireo 1
Red-eyed Vireo 1
Veery 1
Northern Parula 1
Yellow Warbler 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler 2
Yellow-rumped Warbler 30
Black-throated Green Warbler 3
Blackburnian Warbler 1
Black-and-white Warbler 2
American Redstart 1
Scarlet Tanager 1
Baltimore Oriole 2

The warblers were all heard only, except for the Chestnut-sided and
Yellow-rumped. Morris Arboretum in Phila. reports foliage about 10 days early this
year, hence the high frustration index.
