Lydia Schindler and I looked for shorebirds today at some Germantown 
area storm water management ponds, finishing at the pond in the soccerplex.

Shamrock Glen Ct SWM pond (NW corner of I-270/Rt 27 interchange):
Greater Yellowlegs 1
Solitary Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 3
Killdeer 1

Fable Dr/Richter Farm Rd SWM pond:
Killdeer 1

SWM Ponds off Bubbling Spring Rd:
Solitary Sandpipers 4

Germantown Soccerplex pond:
Semipalmated Plover 1
Killdeer 1
Lesser Yellowlegs 4
Solitary Sandpiper 4
Least Sandpiper 12+

Surprised that we did not see a Spotted SP.  Later today, while taking 
my son to his baseball game, saw a spotted in a SWM pond at corner of 
Shakespeare Blvd and Rt 355 in Germantown.
