There's a book, out of print now, but I was able to find one through Amazon
fairly easily, called "Finding Birds in the National Capital Area" by
Claudia Wilds. I don't know if there's anything more current.

I love these detailed trail/park/whatever birding guides. It really helps
when we want to go to a new place or have limited time to bird somewhere.
Thanks for posting this!
There is a book called (something like) "Guide to Bird Finding in New Jersey
that has this level of detail for all sorts of places up there, and my wife
and I found that very handy on a trip to Cape May last year.
Has there been a similar book, or web site, done about Maryland sites? I
have seen good write-ups of some areas, and I have a copy of the Baltimore
County guide. A Maryland state-wide one would be an excellent resource, yes?
Just wondering,
