I had Friday off and the last two days were excellent birding here!! All
observations reported here are for PG County. Highlights were 22 warbler
species, including a singing Canada Warbler in my yard (first ever), and 3
Bobwhite seen and heard near Upper Marlboro. I had 107 species Friday and
106 species Saturday, with a combined total for the two days of 120
species. The numbers for each species observed are not listed here, but
will be provided to the PG County compiler (F. Fallon) for the May count
(I have separate counts for each day). Also of interest; 2 additional
species missed by me but seen and reported by fellow observers in the same
area were a Northern Harrier (Friday) and a Golden-winged Warbler (Sat.)!!
