	Hello All,
On Sunday, I braved the chilly temps and damp east wind to bird my local area around Oak Grove. Despite the wind there was a fair amount of singing and activity, but little in the way of migrants as would be expected. On my farm, I had 2 Vesper Sparrow (and another on Oak Grove Rd in MD), 3 Yellow-breasted Chat, 2 Prairie Warbler and a single Blackpoll (the only migrant). A single Cedar Waxwing was new for the homelist. The most surprising find was shorebirds in a bare field on Wild Turkey Rd (DE) after having none on Saturday for the count. The ground showed a couple shades of wetness from the recent rain, but certainly no puddles. Nevertheless, there were 8 Least and 2 Semipalm Sandpipers and 4 Semipalm Plovers along with the Killdeer. Also fledgling Horned Lark here. The next field had 125 Laughing Gulls with 5 Ringers. We had also missed Ringers on Saturday. Despite the weather, I got a total of 60 species.
2 Bald Eagles near Wesley Church this morning made 5 count week birds not seen on the Spring Count.

Good Birding,
Glen Lovelace III
