I found 2 Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows at Swan Harbor this afternoon. The
first spent most of its time along the cornfield edge of the dike grasses on
the NE side of the impoundment. Dave Webb later saw it in the short grasses
inside the impoundment. I flushed a second bird along the S dike. The
first bird was very cooperative and I even got a decent digibino photo. It was a
very bright individual. The second bird I saw several times in flight and
only once perched. It was duller than the first.

The only shorebirds present were Semi Sands, Least Sands, and Semi Plovers.

Last night I listened to a decent thrush flight over my house from 11-12.
Swainson's Thrush - 60+
Gray-cheeked Thrush - 50+
Bicknell's Thrush - 4
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
