Hello,

I checked on the Yellow-crowned night herons that nest in Sligo Creek Park
today, after I had been away three weeks, and saw at least 2 young ones
hopping around the nest and on the branch.  Not as good as last year (there
were 5 or 6 young ones) but still exciting. A good spot to view them is from
the playground on Dale Drive, between the swings and the creek.
