My run up the Anacostia River this (Sat, 7/1) morning turned up a LEAST
SANDPIPER at Anacostia Park - an adult, presumably heading south now. That
was the only bird of note today. Other birds that I saw or heard last week
were not in evidence, including the Swamp Sparrow, Marsh Wren, and
Yellow-breasted Chats.
