Greetings, 

I saw 3 or 4 adult Least Terns at Bladensburg
waterfront park this morning.  At 9:30 I saw three
adults flying together, heading noisily south along
the Anacostia.  A few minutes later, I noted a single
adult bird flying silently around and above one of the
newly created mudflats.  I suspect these mudflats will
attract southbound shorebirds shortly, so I plan to
spend some time in the park for the rest of the
summer.
