It's hard to believe that warbler migration is already upon us in early
August, but looking at atlas safe dates, most of them end for warblers
sometime in July, meaning these birds can be expected to start moving
shortly thereafter. While atlasing near Tilghman Island in Talbot Co. on
Sunday (8/6), I saw a PROTHONOTARY WARBLER in a wooded area mixed in with
some common birds; this is nowhere close to where these warblers nest.
