This evening I received a phone call from a resident of Denton in
Caroline County reporting that a Monk Parakeet has been visiting his bird
feeders each day for the past eight days.  Some days the bird has come to
the feeders two or three times.  The bird is being seen at a private
residence.  I plan to visit the site within the next few days, and if the
bird seems to be staying around, I will talk with the home owner about
possible visit arrangements for other interested birders.
