After my first posting of results, several more people sent in their
sightings of Cowbird-Host pairings.
 
Calvert County             -    Chipping Sparrow
Kent County                  -    Orchard Oriole
Montgomery County   -    Prothonotary Warbler - for sure this time - on five
occasions either eggs or fledgling Cowbirds were found by Bob Mumford in his
warbler boxes along the C&O Canal
 
Prince Georges County  -   Indigo Bunting
Worcester County            -  Acadian Flycatcher
 
And, for whatever it is worth, today in Caroline County I came across a
flock of about 40 Cowbirds gathered on a lawn - and no other species were
mixed in.  All seemed to be males - apparently gathering together for
efficient foraging - perhaps a form of liar's club, now that the breeding
season is over.
