I heard a flight of passerines over the house before dawn this morning and I decided it would be a good day to look for migrants. I birded Hashawha Enviromenmental Center joined by Sarel Cousins. We found 14 warblers. Unfortunately they were all Yellowthroats. Here is a partial list for the day:

Wood Duck 3
Red-tailed Hawk 2
Chimney Swift 2
Kingfisher 1
Pewee 2 heard
Unidentified Empidonax 2
Warbling Vireo 1 heard singing
Red-eyed Vireo 3
Barn Swallow 3
House Wren 3
Veery 1 heard calling
Wood Thrush 1 heard calling
Yellowthroat 14
Indigo Bunting 1 male
Bobolink 1 heard flying over
