Hi all,
I got out early this morning so I could get back home to see my daughter
off to UDel, and had a pleasant morning of birding at Meadowside Nature Center
in Rockville.

In approx. 3.5 hours of birding (7-10:30 or so) I had 54 species, including
4 vireos and 11 warblers (Vireos; PHILADELPHIA, a pair of Yellow-throated,
White-eyed and lots of Red-eyed. Warblers: Blue-winged, N. Parula, Tennessee,
Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Black-throated Blue and B-T Green, Blackburnian,
Black & White, A. Redstart, C. Yellowthroat). Also lots of Baltimore Orioles, a
single Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Great-crested Flycatcher, lots of empids, a
single Veery and 2 Wood Thrushes.

A very nice morning to be out.
