I just heard that Steve Irwin has died from a stingray injury today, from 
a bizarre accident on the great barrier reef.  He lived on the edge, which 
not everyone approved of, but we learned so much from him.  He was an 
amazing person with huge curiosity, insight, and love for nature.  This is 
a huge and tragic loss for international wildlife conservation.
