Cowbird host stories keep coming in; additions since the previous report:

Anne Arundel County - Prothonotary Warbling feeding a fledgling
Cowbird

District of Columbia - Red-eyed Vireo playing host

Montgomery County - Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (surely a
difficult time raising a Cowbird)

Queen Anne's County - Chipping Sparrow (eggs found in nests
three times)
                                                    - Red-eyed Vireo
feeding a chick
                                                    - Wood Thrush
                                                    - Blue Grosbeak
(Cowbird egg found in the nest - nest abandoned)

Talbot County - Song Sparrow as host

Ohio (bonus data point from a local birder) - Hooded Warbler as the
host.

The current total of host species is eighteen. Of these, the most burdened
hosts have been Prothonotary Warbler (seven intrusions), Chipping Sparrow
(5) and Song Sparrow (4).
