Hi all,
  10am-1:00pm rainy and overcast
  Here are species seen/heard at a couple of sites today in Montgomery Co:
   
  Violett's Lock: 
  2 Osprey (one immature feeding on a fish)
  2 Caspian Terns (flying up river)
  4 Double crested Cormorants
  Great Blue Herons (several)
   2Great Egrets 
  Swallows (several -light was bad this morning)
  Chimney Swift (several)
  1 Turkey Vulture
  1 Phoebe
  2 White doves in vicinity
   
  Hughes Hollow (impoundments)
   
  Green-backed Herons (several)
  2 Great Blue Herons
  1 Great Egret
  Tree Swallows(many) Barn Swallow 1-2
  4 Blue winged Teal
  8-10 Wood Ducks (mostly in eclipse plumage)
  Canada Geese (fly overs)
  1 Red Tailed Hawk
  1 Great crested Flycatcher
  2 Phoebes
