To all who asked me what the CBBT stands for on my Ernesto summary, it is
the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel that spans from the Eastern Shore of VA to
Virginia Beach.  I suppose we Virginians think that everyone knows the
abbreviation for that great place!  Link here:

As many of you already know, most of the "islands" of the structure are no
longer accessible by the public, though the southern-most island is still
open and can be a good place to observe birds.

I will provide an updated storm list in the next day or two (as my schedule
permits).

I was driving along the GW Parkway late this afternoon and observed a single
Black Tern flying over the LBJ Grove and another at Dyke Marsh, and I would
tend to think these birds are still displaced storm stragglers.
