Hi all --

After yesterday's interesting birding, many Rock Creek Park DC regulars assembled in hopes of a repeat...it was not to be. For whatever reason, wind direction, bad karma, whatever -- the migrants decided to give us a miss. There were more birders than birds. I think I saw 1 Redstart, 1 Chestnut-sided and maybe 2-3 yellowthroats and a couple of hummers. We went home early...

Whether things will improve tomorrow, who knows? -- looks like the same weather conditions...
