This morning, three of us from the Augusta Maine Bird Club went to Salem, NH to see the Northern Wheatear that was found there yesterday. We had no problem locating the bird. It is an adult male, which makes it a different bird from the one found earlier in Burlington, Vermont which was probably an adult female or 1st year bird. The bird in Salem was found in its typical habitat - flitting between the roofs of a Toys-R-Us and K-Mart store in a shopping mall, nothing exotic like a stony beach or the like.

Hey Everyone,
Just FYI, Northern Wheatears have been reported in Vermont, New Hampshire,
and Florida (Everglades NP!) over the last week. See Siler's site
(http://www.birdingonthe.net) for more details.
Wishful thinking,
Bill
