I usually take a short walk along the Patuxent Branch Trail off Guilford
Rd in Columbia during my lunch breaks. This week hasn't been great, but
it was nice to see a Wilson's Warbler on 9/13, a Golden-winged on 9/12,
and an immature Oporornis sp. on 9/11. Unfortunatly, I only saw the
Oporornis warbler for a split-second, and cannot call it a connecticut
or mourning with certainty.

brief bird list:
9/11
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Veery
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Common Yellowthroat
Imm. Oporornis sp.

9/12
Golden-winged Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
American Redstart
Common Yellowthroat
Wood Thrush
melanistic Gray Squirrel - first time I've seen one of these in HowCo

9/13
Blue-winged Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Wilson's Warbler

9/14 (5 min. in the rain)
Swainson's Thrush
Wood Thrush
