What a difference a day makes. On Saturday morning, I walked from the
Monocacy Aqueduct to Noland's Ferry and back in Frederick County. The
birding was very slow. I saw exactly 2 warblers, one of which a vibrant
Yellow-throated Warbler at Noland's Ferry. This was the latest I had ever
seen one.

On Sunday, I drove down to Taylors Island in Dorchester County and spent
the entire morning birding along Bay Shore Rd, Hoopers Neck Rd, and Pine
Top Rd. I found warblers at nearly every stop, but I ended up with better
numbers than variety.

Northern Parula--6 (close-out)
Magnolia--10
Black-throated Blue--1
Black-throated Green--4
Blackburnian--1
Palm--2 (1 yellow, 1 western)
Black-and-white--10
American Redstart--20
Ovenbird--1
Common Yellowthroat--6

I probably missed another 30-40 flying overhead in the first hour.

Other birds in the area included:
Red-shouldered Hawk--1
Merlin--1
Red-headed Woodpecker--3
Veery--1
Swainson's Thrush--2
Rose-breasted Grosbeak--1
