Today around 6:00pm I went out to do some digi-scoping of some local birds
in Queenstown, and thinking I might be lucky and get a migrate warbler. I
managed to get a 1 male BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER who wasn't that afraid
of me and I got some great photos, and also some photos of a female
RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD. I have also been getting BLACK-AND-WHITE
WARBLERS, MAGNOLIA WARBLERS, AND REDSTARTS but could not get photos of them.
Last week, Sunday 9/10 I had 3+ ROYAL TERNS flying around Queenstown Creek.
If you are interested in seeing the Black-throated Blue Warbler photo, or
other Centreville Middle School Birding Group photos, e-mail me.
