I spent the morning in Montgomery County before heading to College Park. I
was surprised that there were not more migrants around. I started at
Sycamore Landing then birded Hughes Hollow where I met Jim Green. We hit the polo
fields and Germantown Soccer Complex before we split and I went to Clopper
Lake and Lake Needwood.
Highlights:
Sycamore Landing - almost all of the birds were in the field just east of
the parking area across the road. They were cycling through the sunny corner.

Barred Owl - once dawn hit a minimum of 4 sounded off
