Hi all,
While out this evening walking the dog, I noticed a few birds perched on
the dead snags of a dying old, and very large oak tree out in the farm fields
here. Frequently it is a perch for hawks/falcons, but tonight was perhaps a
first for me in the 20 plus years of watching. There were 3 American Kestrels
perched there, with a flock of Blue Jays harassing them. I often see a single
kestrel there but 3 was a real treat!
