About 25 Greater Snow Geese flew downriver past Sycamore landing this
afternoon. A large flock for Montgomery. The waterfowl fallout between there and
Seneca was otherwise rather light, small numbers of Pintails, Wigeons and
Green-winged Teals.

A Horned Grebe has been with the Pied-billed Grebes at Seneca since SEPTEMBER
28th, one of the earliest fall dates I have for the DC area.

Thousands of Tree Swallows moved downriver this afternoon, with a few Swifts,
Rough-wingeds, Barns and a Bank.
