The Allegany/Garrett Countie's Bird Club had a scheduled field trip to
Town Hill today (Sat. 10/14). I met Ray Kiddy at the Park n Ride at
7:30 am and we were later joined by Charlotte Folk, Kathleen Helker and
Dave Powell. The hawks were slow early in the morning but flights
picked up after 10:00 am. We stayed from 8:00 am until around 1:20 pm.

Non-Raptors:
Turkey Vulture - 2 or 3, Downy Woodpecker - 3, Red-Bellied Woodpecker -
3, Pileated Woodpecker 2, Flicker - 1, BH Vireo - 2, Blue Jay 10, AM
Crow - 20, Common Raven - 1, RC Kinglet 2, GC Kinglet - 4, BC Chickadee
- 1, Tufted Titmouse - 2, WB Nuthatch - 2, E. Bluebird - 8, AM Robin -

I also found a dead Barred Owl on Old Route 40 while travelling to the

bands on it.

Good Birding,
