This Wednesday, October 18th - come and hear Phil Davis, Secretary MD/DC 
Records Committee. The topic will be  "Maryland's Next New Species."

In 2001, some top Maryland birders were polled to find out which species they 
predicted would be the next to be observed in or state.  Phil will provide an 
update to that survey, indicating which species have since been recorded in 
MD and which are currently under review by the Records Committee. For those 
that have yet to appear, Phil will cover field identification and give us tips on 
where and when to look for them.

The meeting is held in the Potomac Presbyterian Church located at 10301 
River Road, 1/4 mile past Falls Road in Potomac. (Directions on MBC website.) 
Refreshements at 7:30 with the meeting starting at 8:00. All are invited.
