Hello all.

I spent about 3 hours at Lake Shore Athletic Complex this morning and while 
nothing earth-shaking was seen, good numbers of seasonal birds and migrants 
made it a good walk. Had a nice run of raptors, too.

Highlights:

Canada Goose: 4  Only 4!
Turkey Vulture: 2
Black Vulture: 4  Riding the high winds
Red-tailed Hawk: 1 adult
Red-shouldered Hawk: 1 adult
Cooper's Hawk: 1  adult, low and large
Sharp-shinned Hawk: 2   1 adult, 1 subadult, moving southwest
American Kestrel: 1  Low and fast
Ring-billed Gull: 1
Mourning Dove: 3
Red-bellied Woodpecker: 2
Downy Woodpecker: 4
Hairy Woodpecker: 2
Northern Flicker: 3
Eastern Phoebe: 2  On the same fence rail
Blue-headed Vireo: 1  Enjoying them while we can
American Crow: 6
Blue Jay: 35+ Scattered all around
Carolina Chickadee: 11
Tufted Titmouse: 6  A very active bunch 
White-breasted Nuthatch: 2
Carolina Wren: 6
Ruby-crowned Kinglet: 4
Eastern Bluebird: 24
American Robin: 3
Gray Catbird: 1
Northern Mockingbird: 1
Cedar Waxwing: 8  Plenty for them to eat at this place
European Starling: 100+  
Yellow-rumped Warbler: 12  In 3 different groups
Northern Cardinal: 14
Eastern Towhee: 8  
Song Sparrow: 2
Chipping Sparrow: 12 
Field Sparrow: 3  Near the westernmost soccer field
White-throated Sparrow: 50  They were everywhere!
Junco: 11
Red-winged Blackbird: 20+
Brown-headed Cowbird: 50+
House Finch: 2
American Goldfinch: 2
