Some of our winter visitors have returned to the Little Patuxent Oxbow Lake 
Nature Preserve.

Hooded Mergansers (5 m)
Ring-necked Ducks (~20 both m,f)
American Coots (~25)

Pied-billed Grebe (2 - have only been seeing 1 recently).

Trumpeter Swan #960 is still there and was flying around the lake. I guess he 
was stretching those wings and surveying his kindgom.

The 2 Great Egrets remain. Heard Bluebirds for the first time this morning.
