Hey everyone, the consensus seems to be that the bird
visiting our feeders was indeed an Inca Dove, and it fits a
pattern of vagrancy for a few other birds this past week.

I have been advised to see if the bird returns and determine
whether it establishes a regular visiting pattern. If so,
then a decision will be made about allowing limited visits.

Thanks for all your help and advice. It has been an
exciting week for Maryland birding!
