Ahh, the old migration quandry. I've had this discussion (some of you might
say I argue about it ;) ) for years with my fellow birders, and I think
that there are "true" migrations and "local" migrations, and American Robins
fall into the latter category. Corvids also travel hundreds of miles in
search of food during the winter - are they migrating? What about Cedar
Waxwings? They can wander great distances ANY time of the year. Are they
migrating?
