Shortly after Paul Pisano's posting I drove to Hains Point and I saw
the BRANT exactly where he said it was. That's a nice find! Thanks
very much Paul.

In case anyone else besides Gail & Barry are interested (they've
already been called), the BRANT was again at the very tip of Hains
Point in DC, browsing in the grass near the Awakening sculpture.
Today (Tues, 11/14) I saw it during a quick lunchtime trek to the
point. If it sticks around for 17 more days I'll get to add to my
December list (he types, with fingers crossed).

Alas, no sign of the Red-throated Loon that Gail reported yesterday.

Only other bird of note was a pipit/lark type bird that flew over the
point, calling. Never did see it.

Good birding,
